COVID-19 Response Plan
June 15, 2020
In response to the current situation surrounding the coronavirus, we’ve implemented our business continuity plan, which examines all areas of our operations. We will continue to monitor the situation and take the necessary steps to protect our staff, members and community. Updates will be posted as needed on this page. If you have questions or concerns, please call us at 605-374-3380 or 800-714-9790
Lobby/Office Customer Access Restrictions:
As we open our doors, we ask members to limit the amount of time spent inside the branch and limit the number of people who enter the branch. Less exposure for everyone, helps us in being able to keep our doors open for you.
Services Available from Home or Smartphone
We want to take this time to remind you that there are many services available to you from the comfort of your home. To download our mobile banking app, please search on Google Play or iTunes (it’s a Fiserv app) for “TouchBanking” and then input “dakotamobile” as the app code. We offer the following, that you can access from ANYWHERE:
- Mobile Banking
- Check your account balances
- View recent transactions
- Transfer money between your accounts
- Bill Pay
- Mobile Check Deposit
- And More…
We also offer the CardValet app that allows you to monitor your debit card usage to stay alert to potential fraud. If you do not recognize a transaction, you can immediately shut your card off which stops anymore transactions from going through your account. This app also gives you real-time balances for your accounts. You can download the CardValet app for your Apple iOS or Google Android device from the Apple app store or Google Play.
If you have any questions about either app, please call and we will be happy to assist you.

What we are doing…
You can rest assured that we are monitoring the latest news on the COVID-19 virus and we are doing what we can in each of our branches to prevent the spread of germs to keep our members and employees safe. With the help of information from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and organizations such as the Credit Union National Association, we are making sure to do the following: disinfect counters, desks, and phones, handwashing, using hand sanitizer and avoiding contact with our face. We have also implemented health screening for all employees which includes daily temperature screenings.
The health, safety, and welfare of everyone involved is our highest priority and we appreciate your understanding of the safety measures we’ve put in place, as well as actions that we may be required to take in the future as things evolve.
Beware of fraud
Fraudsters may see this period of uncertainty as a good time to attempt to take advantage of you. These people may pretend to call you from the World Health Organization or other similar organization and try to acquire sensitive information. Remember to never give out bank information, credit card numbers or expiration dates, CVV codes or online banking login information.
