Dear Valued Member,
At Dakota Plains Federal Credit Union, we are constantly assessing how we can offer the best products and services while remaining affordable to our members. Part of this assessment has been reviewing our core processing system and keeping technology current, so we have decided it is time to upgrade.
This system update will give us the ability to offer you more options while also helping our staff become more efficient. While this upgrade will be beneficial, there are some items that will change. For example, our online banking and mobile app will change, and you will need to download the new app. Your username will remain the same, but for security purposes, your password will need to be changed.
Projects of this size require an adjustment period and there will be times when our system will be down. Below is a schedule for conversion week.
Friday May 30th: We will close at our normal time. Any pending credits will be posted that day. Debit cards will have a decreased daily limit. Online and mobile banking will be unavailable after 5:00 pm.
Saturday May 31st through Monday June 2nd: Mobile and online banking will be unavailable. Please make any transfers prior to the end of business day on Friday May 30th. Debit cards will have a decreased daily limit.
Monday June 2nd: All branches will be closed for conversion.
Tuesday June 3rd: All branches will be open with systems running as usual. Debit cards return to standard processing. Mobile and online banking will be on our new platform.
Here are some of the benefits you will experience with this upgrade:
- Online loan applications
- Free mobile check deposits
- Manage your credit card through online and mobile banking
- Ability to turn your debit and credit cards on/off should they be lost or stolen
- Electronic notifications and secure messaging
As we move forward with this conversion, we will continue to provide updates via email, our website, and social media. Please make sure we have your current contact information on file to ensure you receive timely updates.
We are thankful for your membership and trust in Dakota Plains Federal Credit Union. We appreciate your patience as we transition into this new technology. We are confident this upgrade will allow us to serve you better for years to come.
Sincerely,
Brent Dirk, President & CEO
